The sebaceous glands are found throughout the body, except the palms and soles, with particular abundance on the face and scalp. They are microscopic glands in the skin which secrete an oily/waxy matter called sebum which lubricates the skin and hair of animals.

The zonule of Zinn is a ring of fibrous strands which connects the ciliary body with the lens of the eye. It is split into two layers; a thin layer which lines the hyaloid fossa and a thicker layer which is a collection of zonular fibers. Together, these form the suspensory ligament of the lens.
